Registration fee is non-refundable, and is due for any dancers beginning classes September 2016 through Recital 2017.
No Registration fee for summer classes
Session fees are payable in full, or monthly at the first class of each month (by check). Dancers that are not current on tuition will be given 1 week of classes with a reminder for tuition payment.
All dancers must be current on tuition to participate in performances.
Costume fees are communicated in December and due by January 19, 2017. Costume fees are non refundable if you choose to stop dancing, but you will be able to pick up the costume when it arrives.
Refund Policy: 100% refundable if notified in writing before the first class. 100 % refundable except the registration fee if notified in writing before the second class.
Makeup Classes & Weather policy:
Miss Sheryl's Ballet will generally follow the Seattle Public Schools for all holidays and weather closures. Classes missed due to weather are non-refundable, and not available for makeup. In the event of weather facebook, an email, and the website will be updated by 1:00 on the days of any classes.
Classes missed due to illness or vacation are available for makeup with PRIOR approval based on availability of classes and if we are preparing for a performance etc.
Summer camp numbers are purposely kept low to ensure attendees receive the most attention and FUN! Max of 6 full time attendees, partial week registration is also available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org Most camps include a field trip, except for camps marked with a *

If you have a Moana fan this one will be a huge hit. We will be learning all about the Hawaiian culture, our field trip will be to the Burke Museum to view the Kanu Kaho'olawe: Replanting, Rebirth exhibit (and others as well) and during the week we will be creating lots of crafts and snacks that honor the Hawaiian culture. Our week culminates with a guest instructor who will teach us authentic Hawaiian Hula Dance
July 5 - 7 (age 4 - 7) 1:00-4:00

We are OUTTA here camp!
Exactly like the name implies we will be meeting at the studio and then loading up the TUTU mobile (Miss Sheryl's Van) and heading out. Wednesday we will be headed to the Zoo, Thursday the Beach (weather dependent), and Friday The Museum of Flight. We will make it back to the studio by pickup time!
July 17-21 (age 4 - 7) 9:00-12:00
$150.00 full week or $35.00 day
Unicorns and Rainbows
Glitter, Glitter, and did I mention Glitter! Our field trip will be to Paint the Town to create an amazing creation. During the week we will have crafts and activities all themed around fairies, unicorns and rainbows!
July 24 - 28 (6 & up) 9:00-2:00
$210.00 full week or $45.00 per day
The week will start with a visit to Joann's fabric store to discuss patterns, pick out fabrics, layout etc. The week will finish with each attendee completing a project to take home. We will also be learning basic mending skills, sewing on buttons, crafting projects, etc. Sewing machines and supplies will be provided. Cost of fabric is included in registration fee.
Partial attendees that do not attend Monday will have several patterns and fabric options to choose from.
July 31 - August 4 (6 & up) 9:00 - 2:00
$210.00 full week or $45.00 per day
Start to finish the attendees will completely design a dance performance, make a list of needs for props within a designated budget and create costuming etc. Classes in dance will prepare them for choreographing their own dance to show our grownups on Friday. Field Trip will be to Costume & Display or Michaels (depending on our needs) to acquire our props.

Intro to Ballet - Cinderella Camp
If you have a little one that is interested in dance, or just loves Cinderella this would be a great week to combine both! We will be leaning about the Ballet of Cinderella which is little different then the Disney version and doing lot so fun dancing and crafts. Friday we will put on a little show for our grownups!
August 16 - 18 (age 4-7) 9:00-12:00

Wednesday our travels will take us to the movies to see Happy Feet 2, Thursday we are heading to Greenlake to explore the park (and ok, get frozen yogurt at Zoey), Friday Ferry Trip to Vashon Island for some fun in the sun.

Ballet 1 EXTENDED 4:45 - 5:45
age 5.5-7, an intro to Ballet for dancers that have always wanted to be a classical dancer ready to begin their journey to the stage and younger dancers with previous class experience moving up from Ballet 1 (45 minutes class)
Ballet 2/3 6:00-7:15
age 7 & up with at least 2 years of dance experience.
age 9 and up with no dance experience.
Creative Ballet - 3:30-4:00
age 2-4, new to Ballet classes. Working on becoming an independent dancer excited about new accomplishments while our grown ups transition to free time in the waiting room.
Creative Ballet 2 - 4:15-4:45
age 3-5, able to take class independently from our grownups. Dancers begin to follow multiple step directions and very basic french terminology and Ballet steps (plie, tendu, etc.)
Pre-Ballet EXTENDED - 5:00-5:45
age 5-7, Longer class & higher age range and maturity level of other Pre-Ballet classes. Typically has taken 1 year of the 30 minute Pre-Ballet class already, but is not quite ready for the transition to Ballet 1.
Ballet 1 - 6:00 - 6:45
age 5-7, an intro to Ballet dancers that have always wanted to be a classical dancer ready to begin their journey to the stage, the next step up for dancers moving up from Pre-Ballet Extended. Barre, center work and across the floor are all included for a "real" ballet class.
ADULT DROP IN Ballet - 7:00-7:45 (or 8 depending on students preference for length of class)
Age 16 and up and want a traditional Ballet class this is for you! Beginning to Intermediate level following a normal ballet class structure of barre work, center, and across the floor.
Creative Ballet for grown up and me - 3:15-3:45
age 2-3 , Not ready for independent class instruction, still need the reassurance of their mom or family members presence? This class is for you! Grown ups are welcome to dance with us, or sit on the sidelines and cheer on from the side depending on how much your dancer needs you involved.
Pre-Ballet - 4:00 - 4:30
age 4 - 6, dancers start to execute the beginnings of actual Ballet steps and start to hear about posture and placement .
Ballet 1 - 4:45 - 5:30
age 5-7, an intro to Ballet dancers that have always wanted to be a classical dancer ready to begin their journey to the stage or dancers that have dance experience and are ready to move up
Ballet 2 - 5:45 - 6:45
age 7 & up - Moving up from Ballet 1 and ready for more challenging combinations are new steps.
Ballet 3 - 5:45-7:15! A complete full ballet class, combining everything learned over the last 2 years and adding tremendously over the summer intensive. This class will challenge your mind and your body to work together to increase your flexibility, strength, and knowledge of dance! Dancers are strongly encouraged to attend this day as much as possible. Dancers moving onto pointe in the fall will need this class to do so!
Creative Ballet - 3:00-3:30
age 3-5, Description above
Tap - 3:45 - 4:15
age 3-5, intro to tap steps, timing, and terminology for the dancers that want to make noise! Tap dancers participate in all performances and events as well.
